DESCRIPTION:POSTCARD FROM INFINITY \nMostra personale di Jiri Hauschka \nTesto di Martin Dostal \n14 marzo – 20 aprile 2024\n Inaugurazione giovedì 14 marzo h. 17/21\nL’artista sarà presente\nCRAG Gallery è lieta di inaugurare la mostra personale “Postcard from Infinity” dell’artista Jiri Hauschka (Rep.Ceca\, 1965) in occasione della quale verrà presentato un nuovo ciclo pittorico dal 14 marzo al 20 aprile nella sede di via Parma 66D. \nIl percorso artistico di Hauschka vede negli anni un costante sguardo rivolto ai grandi pittori della contemporaneità\, come Peter Doig e Daniel Richter\, ai quali si ispira con la propria narrazione pittorica e sensibilità collegando la tradizione della pittura ceca\, dell’espressionismo dell’Europa Centrale profondamente radicata nei dipinti della Germania\, Austria e Repubblica Ceca già all’inizio del 20° secolo\, con il contesto artistico internazionale. Il suo stile è stato profondamente influenzato dall’esperienza londinese degli anni 2005-6 dalla quale è derivata la sua appartenenza al movimento Stuckist e nel 2020 l’editore Thames and Hudson nella pubblicazione World of art series – Movements in Art since 1945\, ha inserito Hauschka come artista rappresentativo della scena dell’arte internazionale. \nLa sua ricerca è caratterizzata dalla presenza costante di una natura selvaggia delle foreste del centro Europa e in particolare della Moravia. La rappresentazione che ne scaturisce\, attraverso l’uso del colore\, è tesa al limite tra la pittura astratta e figurativa. Ciò che lo circonda viene rappresentato in forme astratte pulsanti con una carica interna intensa e la sua pittura così intrisa di energia esprime in modo tangibile gli stati d’animo lontani e intoccabili delle figure. \nIn questa mostra\, Hauschka ha esplorato nuovi paesaggi\, a seguito di una residenza invernale nel sud della Francia\, luogo d’ispirazione dei grandi maestri. L’artista è entrato in contatto con inaspettati e incessanti nuovi colori\, profumi\, luoghi\, persone e incontri. Ciò che caratterizza i suoi dipinti resta: i colori simbolici\, la forma fluida delle figure\, i contorni chiari e il senso della composizione. \nCome scrive Martin Dostal\, autore del testo di accompagnamento della mostra\, “Ogni pittore si entusiasma per qualcosa di diverso\, qualcosa di proprio. Jiri Hauschka era affascinato dalle rocce rosso-arancio\, che crollano nell’oscurità del mare azzurro\, quando la luce è intangibile\, strana\, neutra\, indeterminata. Ogni pittore è alla ricerca di qualcosa di proprio\, soprattutto la luce. Nessuno è irreprensibile e siamo tutti innocenti. Basta aprirsi alle situazioni\, per quanto inaspettate\, strane\, bizzarre\, inusuali; situazioni in cui le scene diventano storie\, storie possibili che non si possono raccontare\, si possono solo dipingere. I dipinti di Jiri Hauschka sono una raccolta di sentori di storie possibili nell’infinito del sole\, dei colori e della terra a cui nessuno\, quasi nessuno\, può resistere. L’artista ha dipinto una presenza vissuta e viva\, una mescolanza meravigliosamente inquieta di sentimenti e suggestioni\, quando già era catturato e intrappolato dalla pittura nel suo infinito ritorno\, che si apre all’infinito della pittura“. \nLa Galleria è entusiasta di inaugurare questa mostra\, credendo fortemente nella autenticità della ricerca di Jiri Hauschka\, che è in grado di unire nelle sue tele la propria forte sensibilità verso l’esistenza\, verso ciò che circonda l’essere umano\, e  la capacità di trasmettere questa sua visione “alta” allo spettatore\, con una resa potente e genuina al tempo stesso. \nOrari di mostra: \nmercoledì – giovedì – venerdì ore 15/19 \nsabato e domenica tutto il giorno su appuntamento \n\nPOSTCARD FROM INFINITY\nSolo show by Jiri Hauschka\nText by Martin Dostal \nCRAG – CHIONO REISOVA ART GALLERY\nVia Parma 66 D – Turin \n14 March – 20 April 2024 \nOpening Thursday 14 March h. 17/21\nThe artist will be present \nCRAG Gallery is pleased to open the solo show  “Postcard from Infinity” by the artist Jiri Hauschka (Czech Republic\, 1965) on the occasion of which a new pictorial cycle will be presented from 14 March to 20 April. \nOver the years\, Hauschka’s artistic career has seen a constant look towards the great contemporary painters\, such as Peter Doig and Daniel Richter\, from whom he draws inspiration with his own pictorial narrative and sensitivity\, connecting the tradition of Czech painting and Central European expressionism. He was deeply rooted in the paintings of Germany\, Austria and the Czech Republic already at the beginning of the 20th century\, with the international artistic context. His style was profoundly influenced by the London experience of the years 2005-6 from which his belonging to the Stuckist movement derived and in 2020 the publisher Thames and Hudson in the publication World of art series – Movements in Art since 1945\, included Hauschka as a representative artist of the international art scene.\nHis research is characterized by the constant presence of the wild nature of the forests of central Europe and in particular of Moravia. The resulting representation\, through the use of color\, is aimed at the limit between abstract and figurative painting. What surrounds him is represented in pulsating abstract forms with an intense internal charge and his painting\, so imbued with energy\, tangibly expresses the distant and untouchable moods of the figures.\nIn this exhibition\, Hauschka explored new landscapes\, following a winter residency in the south of France\, a place of inspiration for the great masters. The artist came into contact with unexpected and incessant new colours\, scents\, places\, people and encounters. What characterizes his paintings remains: the symbolic colors\, the fluid shape of the figures\, the clear contours and the sense of composition. \nAs Martin Dostal\, author of the text accompanying the exhibition\, writes\, “Every painter gets excited about something different\, something of his own. Jiri Hauschka was fascinated by the red-orange rocks\, which collapse into the darkness of the blue sea\, when the light is intangible\, strange\, neutral\, indeterminate. Every painter is looking for something of his own\, especially light. No one is blameless and we are all innocent. Just open yourself up to situations\, however unexpected\, strange\, bizarre\, unusual; situations in which scenes become stories\, possible stories that cannot be told\, they can only be painted. Jiri Hauschka’s paintings are a collection of hints of possible stories in the infinity of the sun\, colors and earth that no one\, almost no one\, can resist. The artist painted a lived and living presence\, a wonderfully restless mixture of feelings and suggestions\, when he was already captured and trapped by painting in his infinite return\, which opens up to the infinity of painting.” \nThe Gallery is enthusiastic to inaugurate this exhibition\, strongly believing in the authenticity of Jiri Hauschka’s research\, who is able to combine in his canvases his strong sensitivity towards existence\, towards what surrounds the human being\, and the ability to transmit this “high” vision of his to the spectator\, with a powerful and genuine rendering at the same time. \nExhibition times:\nWednesday – Thursday – Friday 3pm/7pm\nSaturday and Sunday all day by appointment
